We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll / Finance Functional Analyst to join our Finance Systems team. Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors to deliver high-quality SAP ECC solutions across Payroll and Finance. This is a hands-on role where you will drive system improvements, support issue resolution, and ensure business requirements are translated into effective SAP ECC solutions across integrated modules.

Department Overview: WesTrac Corporate – Finance Systems Department

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute SAP Change Management processes, including approvals and Transport Management
  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Lead vendor coordination, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and system solutions delivered to scope
  • Design and manage System & UAT testing cycles
  • Triage system issues, prioritise defects, and drive resolution
  • Provide SAP functional expertise across Payroll (core focus) and Finance modules
  • Support continuous improvement across integrated SAP processes and systems

About You (Key Requirements):

  • Proven experience as an SAP Payroll or Finance Functional or Business Analyst
  • Understanding of SAP Finance (FI/CO) – highly desirable
  • Experience across ERP implementations and support environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
