Whilst running sites from a commercial point of view, you will be encouraged and assisted to achieve your objectives in a flexible way.
- Complete monthly applications for payment accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures and prepare cost reports in line with valuation processes.
- Provide early quotations to clients for variations, ensuring that only those that are commercially agreed are completed by the production team.
- Manage client accounts ensuring that any payment shortfalls are highlighted and dealt with in a timely manner.
- Compile monthly forecasts with the production team, to ensure the successful commercial performance of a project. Ensure this is monitored and maintained throughout the duration of the contract.
- Procure subcontractor and supplier packages, negotiate contracts, and manage subcontractor accounts.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Ensure each project team has all of the latest information including drawings and details of tender allowances.
- Maintain organised project records, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors or team members as required.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
