Roles Of A Groundworks Contract Manager
- Oversee projects β Manage multiple projects from pre-start to completion.
- Develop project programmes β Produce programmes, timelines and methodologies for site teams to ensure timely delivery and to avoid any delays.
- Resource management β Arrange and manage project resources, including direct and subcontract labour, plant and materials to meet project targets.
- Production management β Regularly visit sites to monitor progress; Health and Safety, quality, compliance and site specific specifications. Attend internal and external meetings and provide status updates.
- Site management β Work closely with the Site Supervisors and site teams to ensure day to day operations run smoothly.
- Health and Safety standards β Ensure all sites are compliant with our company policy and procedure(s) and actively promote safe working practices.
- Safety documentation β All safety statutory documents are completed and reviewed with a full understanding of crucial safety documentation, including RAMS.
- Quality standards β Enforce and educate site teams on our quality standards across all construction activities, visiting sites regularly to ensure high standards are maintained.
