As a Mobile Lending Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional lending experiences to customers across the Manawatū, Wairarapa and the surrounding regions. With a strong emphasis on relationship building and identifying new business opportunities, you’ll provide expert advice and tailored solutions that help New Zealanders achieve their financial and home ownership goals. In this acquisition-focused role, you’ll be self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about networking, business development, and customer satisfaction. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, using your strong communication and negotiation skills to drive new business growth and build a trusted personal brand in the local market.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth through acquisition and relationship management.
- Provide expert advice on residential lending and tailored solutions for customers, including complex structures such as multi-party deals and trusts.
- Identify and develop opportunities in the Manawatū, Wairarapa and surrounding regions.
- Represent Westpac in local markets, building a trusted personal brand and delivering a world-class customer experience.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 3 years’ home lending experience with a strong understanding of credit risk.
- Expert knowledge of residential lending and associated products, including familiarity with complex structures such as multi-party deals and trusts.
- NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) – Residential Property Lending (achieved or in progress).
- Strong existing networks and a proven ability to identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Deep knowledge of the local market and the home buying process.
- Flexibility to work around customers’ schedules, meeting them where and when it suits them.
- Capability to deliver a world-class customer experience through empathy, trust, and expertise.
- Confident presenter; comfortable speaking in seminars to diverse audiences.
