Mō Te Tūranga – About The Role

As a Senior Banking Adviser, you’re the go‑to expert in branch — the person customers trust with their biggest financial decisions and the one who can turn a home‑loan conversation into a moment of genuine excitement and confidence. You’ll own the lending journey end‑to‑end, guiding customers through everything from their first home to their next big investment, all while dazzling them with advice that’s clear, and tailored to their world. You’ll uncover needs they haven’t yet voiced, champion digital tools that make banking easier, and ensure every customer walks away feeling supported, empowered, and ready for what’s next.

This is a role for someone who loves people, loves community, and isn’t afraid to paint your town RED. You’ll be out building relationships with local businesses, schools, and community groups, spotting opportunities to grow Westpac’s presence and helping customers build financial confidence along the way. Inside the branch, you’re the senior voice — setting the tone for what exceptional customer experience looks like. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy meaningful conversations, and want to make a real impact in your community, this is your chance to shine.
