Our London office is a key international hub, working closely with teams across Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas. The business plays an important role in supporting cross border funding, investor access, and international capital markets activity for clients in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
How will I help
You will play a key role in managing client onboarding and ongoing KYC activity across the UK, Europe and US. This includes coordinating onboarding for new clients, supporting changes to existing relationships and completing periodic reviews in line with regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with Relationship Managers and partner across Compliance, Financial Crime, Legal, Operations and Product teams to ensure all documentation and regulatory requirements are met. The role requires strong ownership of cases end to end, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and delivering a high quality client experience.
You will also contribute to improving processes, supporting audits and regulatory requests, and helping maintain a strong control environment as regulatory expectations continue to evolve.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead end to end onboarding of new institutional clients and manage KYC requirements
- Support account openings, amendments and client lifecycle changes
- Complete periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring in line with AML and regulatory frameworks
- Analyse client structures and documentation across corporates, funds and financial institutions
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather, review and validate KYC documentation
- Assess adverse media and escalate risks where appropriate
- Manage workflow against deadlines and SLAs, ensuring high quality output
- Support quality control, audit and remediation activities
- Produce management reporting and maintain accurate MI across onboarding activity
- Contribute to process improvements and regulatory change initiatives

What do I need
Experience and domain knowledge
- Proven experience in client onboarding, KYC and AML within a corporate or institutional banking environment
- Strong understanding of periodic reviews, customer due diligence and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with complex client types such as funds, financial institutions and corporates
- Exposure to global onboarding across multiple jurisdictions is beneficial
- Understanding of banking products such as lending and financial markets is advantageous
Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of AML and KYC frameworks and regulatory expectations
- Experience with onboarding and screening systems such as Fenergo or Refinitiv WC1
- Ability to analyse complex ownership structures and documentation
- Strong reporting and data management capability
