Are you an experienced Engineer looking for an exciting new career opportunity? Westons Cider are currently recruiting for Engineers to join the business. Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider is an independent cider-making company, making premium award-winning ciders since 1880.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate and manage electrical and mechanical maintenance for production lines and site areas ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained and strengthened where possible.
- You will also be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance.
- Contributing to a way of thinking that continuously promotes practices to reduce costs and losses whilst improving efficiency of work.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in electrical & mechanical engineering.
- Trained in electrical and/or mechanical engineering (minimum level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification).
- Good understanding of working with production equipment and PLCs.
- Effective communication skills and a team player.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Previous experience within the FMCG industry would also be advantageous.
Working hours
Will consist of a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, consisting of two consecutive shifts of 06.00-18.00 followed by two consecutive shifts of 18.00 – 06.00, followed by four consecutive shifts off.
