A well established and prominent Surrey based accounting firm are now looking to recruit for either a well-qualified (ACA/ACCA) Audit Manager or Audit Assistant Manager (newly qualified or finalist) to join their highly successful dedicated audit team. This role offers strong development, a varied client portfolio, and a supportive working environment. Please note that candidates requiring VISA sponsorship cannot be considered on this occasion.
The Role
- Lead or support statutory audits for a portfolio of Groups, large corporates and SMEs from the initial planning phase through to completion
- Carry out audit fieldwork and prepare high‑quality audit files
- Review work of junior audit staff and provide direction and support where required.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS
- Liaise effectively with clients throughout the entire audit process, identify issues, escalate technical matters, and report findings
- Monitor budgets, deadlines and engagement progress
About You
- ACA / ACCA qualified with 2+ years PQE for Managers and newly qualified or finalists for the Assistant Manager level
- Strong UK practice audit experience
- Good knowledge of ISAs (UK), UK GAAP and the Companies Act
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage deadlines and work independently
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal car
- Right to work in the UK without VISA restrictions
