Are you looking to take the next step in your accountancy career within a respected and long‑established firm? This well‑established mid‑Kent practice has a diverse and loyal portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, the team is seeking to appoint a Semi‑Senior or Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and supportive working environment.
Working as part of a collaborative accounts team, you will manage and/or support a varied client portfolio while delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Preparing year‑end statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 Section 1A
- Completing and submitting CT600 corporation tax computations for partner review
- Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts and delivering to clients
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns and onward submission to the HMRC
- Providing general bookkeeping support where required and as appropriate
- Building strong client relationships and acting as both an ambassador and trusted point of contact for the firm
Qualifications
- AAT Level 4, ACCA, or ACA part‑qualified or newly qualified
- At least 2 years' experience working for a UK based practice in the capacity of semi‑senior or senior
- Confident in working with a diverse client portfolio and offering a range of accountancy led services
- Excellent communication skills, well organised and with a strong attention to detail
