The Role
You’ll manage your own client portfolio while working closely with a diverse mix of SMEs, owner‑managed businesses, and local organisations across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare year‑end statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102‑1A as well as computations for corporation tax returns
- Gain oversight of the production and delivery of monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Review quarterly VAT returns in readiness for submission to HMRC
- Participate in the firm’s provision of audit services for in‑scope clients as well as tax planning as required
- Providing on‑going support and advice to clients
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
- Contributing to a collaborative, supportive team culture
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3+ years’ practice experience working for a UK firm in the capacity of Senior Accountant or Semi‑Senior looking to step up
- Confident in the provision of full year‑end accounts and ideally audit related obligations
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, detail‑driven, and committed to delivering high-quality work
