An established independent accountancy firm based just outside Chelmsford is looking to expand its team with the addition of a part-time Semi‑Senior or Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing year-end accounts for a mix of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Producing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 101
- Completing corporation tax computations and submissions
- Preparing, reviewing, and filing VAT returns
- Managing client relationships and responding to queries on accounting and tax matters

What We're Looking For
- Ideally 2 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
- Previous experience working directly with clients
- Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines confidently
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, or Sage
