WestonBrook Associates are delighted to be recruiting for a well-established medium-sized Top 50 accountancy firm based in Central London that are now seeking an Accounts Manager to complement their existing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage an exciting portfolio of clients spanning the music and entertainment sectors, alongside businesses operating within property, technology and a range of other industries.
The Role
As an Accounts Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and established corporate clients, acting as a key point of contact and trusted advisor.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors including music and entertainment
- Reviewing statutory accounts and management accounts
- Overseeing the preparation of corporation tax returns
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and support to clients
About You
- Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified with 4+ years' experience in a supervisory/managerial role
- Strong accounts preparation and portfolio management experience both preparing and reviewing
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Experience reviewing the work of junior staff
- A proactive and commercial approach to client service
