Job Description Accounts Semi-Senior / Senior /n Stanmore, Middlesex /n £37,000 - £43,000 + Benefits /n A well established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants based in Stanmore is seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior / Senior to join their highly successful team. /n This opportunity would suit an individual with accountancy practice experience gained working for a UK based firm and who is confident preparing draft statutory accounts and working directly with a varied client portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and limited companies. /n The Role /n Working closely with the partners and senior team, your responsibilities will include: /n /n - Preparing draft statutory accounts from trial balance stage through to completion. /n - Preparing corporation tax computations and returns. /n - Supporting with the production of management accounts and financial statements. /n - Preparing VAT returns and assisting with bookkeeping assignments where required. /n - Liaising directly with clients to resolve accounting queries and obtain information. /n - Supporting junior members of the team when appropriate. /n - Building and maintaining strong client relationships. /n /n About You /n /n - At least 3+ years’ experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment at a semi-senior or senior level. /n - The ability to prepare draft accounts with minimal supervision. /n - Experience working with a range of SME and owner-managed business clients. /n - Good working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar. /n - Strong communication and organisational skills. /n - AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified by experience, or studying towards a professional qualification. /n /n This position represents a superb opportunity for a skilled accounting professional to join a firm that will further develop and enhance your experience and skillset.
