A well-established Cambridge accountancy practice is recruiting a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join its growing team.
The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Draft statutory financial statements in line with UK GAAP and FRS 102/105.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients within varied industries.
- Assisting with corporation tax computations and returns.
- Producing management accounts and reporting for clients.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Liaising directly with clients and handling queries professionally.
- Exposure to audit work if a combined audit/accounts journey is your focus.
What We're Looking For
- AAT Level 4 qualified or ACCA / ACA part-qualified or qualified.
- 2+ years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
- Experience managing multiple client files and liaising directly with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills - a natural diligence and organised approach.
- Confidence working with varied workloads and requirements.
- Previous experience with accounting systems such as: Xero, Quickbooks, CCH, Sage.
