This well-established mid-Kent practice has a diverse and loyal portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, the team is seeking to appoint a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and supportive working environment.
About the Role
- Working as part of a collaborative accounts team, you will manage and/or support a varied client portfolio while delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services.
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 Section 1A.
- Completing and submitting CT600 corporation tax computations for partner review.
- Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts and delivering to clients.
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns and onward submission to the HMRC.
- Providing general bookkeeping support where required and as appropriate.
- Building strong client relationships and acting as both an ambassador and trusted point of contact for the firm.
About You
- The ideal candidate will be AAT Level 4, ACCA, or ACA part-qualified or newly qualified, with at least 2 years' experience working for a UK based practice in the capacity of semi-senior or senior.
- Confident in working with a diverse client portfolio and offering a range of accountancy-led services.
- Excellent communication skills, well organised and with a strong attention to detail.
