The Role
This opportunity offers a varied workload spanning audit, financial reporting, and advisory services, providing exposure to a diverse client base including SMEs and owner-managed businesses. You will work closely with senior leadership, gaining direct insight and responsibility early in your career.
Key Duties
- Manage statutory audit engagements from initial planning through to final delivery
- Produce and review financial statements in line with UK GAAP and IFRS requirements
- Assess audit findings and identify business risks, suggesting practical solutions
- Liaise with tax and advisory teams to ensure a cohesive client service
- Support and guide junior members of the team
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a primary point of contact
- Assist in enhancing internal methodologies and maintaining technical quality
Candidate Requirements
- Recently qualified ACA or ACCA
- Experience working within a practice environment, particularly with SME clients
- Solid technical understanding alongside strong analytical capability
- Commercial awareness with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
- Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a varied workload
