We are looking for an inspiring, engaging and talented teacher who has the relevant skills and experience to take on the role of Teacher of Science with a Physics specialism. The successful candidate will be able to teach up to GCSE, and the ability to teach up to A‑level would be advantageous. The teacher will be dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences for their students within and beyond the classroom, and keen to contribute to wider aspects of school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach science subjects (Physics and other science disciplines) to students in Key Stage 4 and, where applicable, Key Stage 5.
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons aligned with the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE at KS4 and Edexcel specifications for Chemistry and Physics, as well as OCR (A) for Biology.
  • Support the Science Department in creating a passion for all of the sciences through a rich curriculum and co‑curriculum activities.
