Salary – £40,388 pro rata. Contract type – Permanent. Hours – 25.9 hours per week. Vacancy closes – 6th August.

What You’ll Do

As an experienced Website Manager, you will improve the Forestry England website and support the organization’s goals of driving forest visits and gaining public support. Your responsibilities include delivering new content and functionality to create usable and accessible digital experiences, working closely with the senior digital manager, our development agency, and the internal website team.

You will manage content and UX projects, preferably in a Drupal environment, liaise with multiple stakeholders to capture feedback, communicate requirements, and champion the user at the heart of all developments. You will also edit website content to a high standard, train staff, and communicate best practice across various channels.

Additional responsibilities include analyzing data and user testing to inform decisions, using JIRA and other development management tools, and covering Forestry England’s social media channels on a few weekends per year (time off is provided in lieu).

Where you’ll work

This role is based in the Bristol office with an expectation to travel to the office a minimum of twice a month. The successful candidate will be required to work on Mondays as part of their working pattern.
