This role is a key member of the Forestry England Alice Holt team and we are looking for someone who can work with drive and motivation to improve the site, with a focus on delivering a high-quality visitor experience. As a recreation craftsperson, this team member will be focused on maintaining the site and its many facilities and providing excellent customer service. The role requires weekend working on a rota system.
Where you’ll work… Alice Holt Forest is 850 hectares and forms part of the South Downs National Park. The Forest lies within an hour’s drive of West London, Reading, Southampton and Portsmouth and it is one of Forestry England's most popular destinations, attracting over 300,000 visitors a year. Its facilities include a café, natural spaces, an activity centre, forest classrooms, outdoor play structures for children to explore, cycle hire, and over eight miles of waymarked trails for walking and cycling.
The duties of this post require the applicant to have a full current driving licence that enables them to drive in the UK. This role will require weekend and public holiday working.
