Weston & Sampson is looking for a motivated and experienced Full Stack Software Developer to help drive innovative solutions for our internal teams and clients. We are a Dynamic engineering consulting firm with a small, collaborative software development team focused on building custom tools and platforms to support technical and field services. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining modern web applications using Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, Python and Azure. You\’ll work closely with engineers and analysts to create scalable tools that interface with various databases, API\’s and Geospatial platforms. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript Build, manage, and deploy backend serverless functions using python, Azure Functions, and Azure SWA. Integrate with various APIs and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms. Design and manage databases with Azure SQL and MySQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. Collaborate with a small team using GitHub for source control Integrate applications with geospatial platforms such as ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise (highly desirable) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver comprehensive integration strategies. Ensure application scalability, security, and maintainability What You Will Bring Bachelor\’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 5–7 years of professional full stack development experience, with exposure in all phases. Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript Solid backend experience using Python 3-5 years web development with Azure Function Apps and Azure Web Apps Proficient in relational databases (Azure SQL and MySQL preferred) Experience developing and consuming APIs Familiarity with GitHub and source control best practices Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team Demonstrated experience with RESTful API integration and system integration.
