Our volunteers produce floral arrangements for display around the hospice to help us provide a homely atmosphere for patients and families. If you have an eye for arranging flowers and would like to help us brighten up the hospice please let us know.

Volunteer role: Flower Arranger

Volunteer manager: Estate & Facilities Co-ordinator

Where you will be based: Other

Why we want you: To produce floral arrangements for display around the hospice to help us provide a homely atmosphere for patients and families.

What you will be doing:

  • Purchasing flowers from a preferred supermarket or florist and transporting them to the hospice.
  • Arranging and displaying flowers around the ground floor of the hospice, including within the In-Patient Unit, Reception, Wellbeing Centre and Day Hospice.
  • Ensuring that the Flower Room is kept clean and tidy.
  • Ensuring that all vases, etc., are cleaned and safely stored.

  • Happy to work alone.
  • Able to use own initiative.
  • Reliable.
  • Good sense of humour.
