Overview
Retail Assistant (North Worle Store – Near Sainsburys) helps with sorting, pricing, displaying, serving and tidying while delivering friendly, high-quality customer service. This role is flexible, with the ability to choose a timeslot that fits with your other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, professional and friendly manner to members of the public
- Be sensitive and appreciative when accepting donated goods
- Help keep the shop area tidy and clean
- Provide behind-the-counter assistance and operate the till
- Follow guidelines for sorting stock, steaming and preparing for safe sale
- Wear appropriate PPE as required
- Act as a representative for Weston Hospicecare and its associated businesses
- Deal with incoming and outgoing telephone calls if required
- Maintain a professional, friendly and courteous attitude towards colleagues and customers

Disclaimer
Children are of compulsory school age until the last Friday in June of Year 11. All school-age children will require a child work permit issued by the local authority to volunteer, with Weston Hospicecare responsible for applying. A permit is not required for school-organised work experience week.
