Retail Assistant (Devonshire Road Store β Till staff and sorters.)
Retail raises so much money and can get really busy. Retail volunteers take turns sorting, pricing, displaying, serving and even tidying. But what\βs really important is to be friendly and deliver great customer service.
We are very flexible, letting you pick whichever timeslot fits with your other commitments. There\βs a bit of training to complete before we set you off on your first shift with your buddy volunteer but you won\βt need any qualifications β just happy to do whatever is needed.
There\βs also the opportunity to bring your skills to help the team. Do you know your way around vinyls? Or can you identify a silver antique from an imitation? Perhaps you\βve got an eye for fashion. Or maybe you\βre creative and would be great at putting together an imaginative window display?
We\βve got so many things that you can do in the shop, but being friendly, willing to roll up your sleeves and get on with a wide range of fellow volunteers and customers is more important than anything else.
