The successful candidate will provide the full range of core primary care services, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Main duties of the job:
The post-holder will deliver the full range of core primary care services, including face‑to‑face and telephone consultations, management of acute and chronic conditions, and low‑volume home visits. They will be responsible for reviewing results, prescriptions, referrals, and clinical correspondence, maintaining accurate and timely medical records, and making autonomous, evidence‑based clinical decisions. Job responsibilities:
This is a self‑employed GP contract. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred primary care services, including face‑to‑face and telephone consultations, management of acute and chronic conditions, and low-volume home visits. The role involves autonomous clinical decision‑making, timely management of prescriptions, referrals and clinical correspondence, and collaborative working within a multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective care and ongoing service development.
Person Specification:
- Full GMC registration (MBChB or equivalent)
- Satisfactory completion GP VTS training
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Has Indemnity cover
- Experience and understanding of NHS primary care
- Strong knowledge of evidence‑based practice and clinical governance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Good organisational and time‑management skills
