Lecturer in Plastering – Weston College
As one of the fastest‑growing colleges in the UK, Weston College delivers courses from entry level up to Master's degrees. We are looking for a lecturer in plastering to join our team.
This is a full‑time role (37 hours per week). Interviews will take place on‑site at our campus in Weston-super-Mare.
Responsibilities
- Teach practical and theory‑based lessons in plastering up to Level 3.
- Tutor students, show sensitivity to their needs and encourage the highest standards.
- Provide advice and guidance to students in their progression to employment or further study.
- Contribute to the development of programmes, courses and training materials as appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level3 qualification in plastering.
- Significant, relevant employment within the industry.
- Working knowledge of Trade Specialism NVQ, Levels1,2 and3.
- Recognised teaching qualification. If you do not possess one, the college will support you to gain it within your first three years of service.
