We would particularly welcome applications from people currently working within the industry or with relevant industry experience.
If you aren't sure if you have the right qualifications, or haven't taught before, we can help you train and develop whilst you build practical experience in the classroom.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Day to day duties of the role include, but are not limited to
- Provide high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a number of programmes as agreed with the Deputy and Head of Area.
- Plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
- Musically directing student productions, rehearsals, performances, showcases, and public-facing events.
- Providing academic and pastoral support while encouraging high standards of achievement and professionalism.
To be successful in this role, you will need to
- Have a degree or professional qualification in a relevant subject.
- Have relevant professional or commercial experience.
- Either hold or be willing to gain a teaching qualification.
