Why not join us as a Vocational Trainer Assessor - Hairdressing and Barbering? This is a part-time role, working 18.5 hours per week. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Day to day duties of the role:
- Provide high quality teaching, learning, assessment, and internal moderation across a range of Hairdressing and Barbering courses.
- Course coordinate programmes of study and be responsible for the success of learners on programme through workplace assessment.
- Tutorship of students, giving appropriate support to enable students to achieve academic and vocational targets.
- Interview and give guidance to potential students.
Required skills and qualifications:
- NVQ/VRQ/Apprenticeship to level 3 or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
- Relevant professional or commercial experience.
- Competence in IT.
