As one of the fastest-growing Colleges in the UK, delivering courses from entry level right up to Masters degrees, Weston College is an inspiring place to work. In this role, you will be working 3 days per week (22.2 hours) within our Sixth Form department, based at our Loxton Campus. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at our Loxton Campus in Weston-super-Mare.

As a Lecturer in Biology, you will be responsible for the delivery of A Level Biology.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality teaching, assessment and internal moderation;
  • Give appropriate support to students to enable them to achieve their goals;
  • Assist students in progressing from their course, whether this is into Higher Education or employment.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Teaching experience and knowledge of current teaching strategies;
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.

You will also need to either hold a teaching qualification, or be willing to gain this whilst in post (with the support of Weston College).
