The predicted salary is between 31650 - 37694 Β£ per year.

As one of the fastest-growing Colleges in the UK, delivering courses from entry level right up to Masters degrees, Weston College is an inspiring place to work. This is a term-time only role, working 37 hours per week. Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

The SEND Enrichment and Engagement Officer will be responsible for leading learner enrichment and development for SEND learners across the College.

Day to day duties of the role:

  • Coordinate the College's SEND enrichment programme - engaging SEND learners in the development of the offer to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with and build positive links with local community groups and service providers to enhance the enrichment offer.
  • Involvement in and commitment to other learner engagement related tasks.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience of successfully engaging with young people and organising events/activities through a voluntary and/or paid role.
  • Ability to maintain an independent viewpoint, on behalf of the student body.
  • Articulate and able to communicate professionally with colleagues and other professionals at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to cope with a challenging and demanding workload making good use of resources to support task completion.
