Recruitment and Retention Officer to join our HR team.

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, on-site at our Knightstone Campus, Weston-super-Mare.

As a Recruitment and Retention Officer you will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process across a number of designated Curriculum and Professional Learner Services departments across the Weston College Group.

You will process all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process including but not limited to:

  • Advertising roles, both across Weston College Group websites and external sites.
  • Creating and managing selection programmes and interview processes.
  • Issuing offers of employment.
  • Issuing contracts of employment. Supporting new starter inductions.
  • Maintaining accurate records for all new starters to the Weston College Group on both our HRIS (i Trent) and our Single Central Record (SCR).

You will do this whilst ensuring compliance with internal policies, Safer Recruitment guidance, GDPR and ISO 27001.

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • Experience working with a recruitment, HR or onboarding environment.
  • Experience using HR or Recruitment systems.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Teams.

Knowledge of Safer Recruitment and/or Safeguarding processes would be beneficial, but is not essential as full training will be provided once in post.
