We are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes and delivering high-quality products. As Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring our production operation runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Production Manager, you will lead your team by example, helping to create a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Production Operations: Plan, coordinate and oversee daily production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are achieved. Monitor production performance to ensure efficiency, productivity and quality targets are met. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve performance. Support the management of raw material and finished goods inventory.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate and support the production team to achieve operational objectives. Train, coach and develop team members, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities and performs to a high standard. Foster a positive working environment built on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement. Address day-to-day staff issues and escalate significant concerns to the Production Manager where appropriate.
- Quality: Ensure quality checks are completed throughout the production process. Work closely with the Quality team to maintain compliance with company and industry standards. Investigate quality concerns, implement corrective actions and help prevent repeat issues.
