We are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes and delivering high-quality products. As Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring our production operation runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Production Manager, you will lead your team by example, helping to create a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Production Operations Plan, coordinate and oversee daily production schedules to ensure customer deadlines are achieved. Monitor production performance to ensure efficiency, productivity and quality targets are met. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve performance. Support the management of raw material and finished goods inventory. Lead, motivate and support the production team to achieve operational objectives. Address day-to-day staff issues and escalate significant concerns to the Production Manager where appropriate. Quality Ensure quality checks are completed throughout the production process. Work closely with the Quality team to maintain compliance with company and industry standards. Investigate quality concerns, implement corrective actions and help prevent repeat issues. Promote a strong health and safety culture across the production department. Support regular safety audits and risk assessments alongside the Health & Safety team. Work collaboratively with Design, Sales and Operations teams to ensure smooth production operations. Prepare regular production updates and performance reports for the Production Manager. At least 3 years' experience within a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in jewellery or precision manufacturing. Previous experience leading or supervising a production team. Experience using production management systems and manufacturing software. High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptional quality standards. Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Production Management or a related discipline. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with CAD/CAM manufacturing technologies. You'll lead by example, communicate effectively with colleagues across the business and be committed to delivering quality in everything you do.
