Purchasing Manager – Engineering – Blackburn, Lancashire- Salary @£42,000 plus benefits
Leading Engineering organisation has a superb opportunity for an all-round Purchasing Manager ideally from an Engineering background to join the management team who is also happy to take on other associated tasks and will be responsible for purchasing ie sheet metal, fixings, machinery, pc\’s/laptops, uniforms, welding gear etc who is IT literate, ie MS Office (Excel etc) and again ideally has worked with MRP/ERP systems (Mie Trak is desirable)
This is a fast paced environment that has seen significant investment and growth recentlya so the ideal candidate will have proven leadership / management skills with good motivational skills along with a positive, proactive, flexible approach with a can-do attitude. You will also be responsible for managing all purchases but there is also variety in the role.
The role of Purchasing Manager includes a salary of £42,000.00 per annum and standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and Friday 8am 1pm and with 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays.
