Overview: A Project Manager is required to join a vibrant and charismatic team, supporting the Principal Engineer in delivering asset examination approvals and bespoke geotechnical projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal Engineer as part of the technical team in delivering asset examination approvals and planned/reactive bespoke geotechnical projects.
  • Prepare tender programmes and update them throughout project delivery.
  • Attend client meetings, brief personnel on project requirements, and undertake checking of site outputs and factual reports.
  • Maintain daily and weekly contact with the Principal Engineer.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline, and/or experience managing geotechnical projects in the railway industry.
  • Prior experience preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements and contract programmes.
  • Strong attention to detail, pro‑active attitude, and confidence in meetings and discussions with contractors and suppliers.
  • Previous experience in a rail environment.
