Responsibilities
- Produce structural designs and support from feasibility to construction across a variety of projects and sectors.
- Develop cost‑effective designs that meet client and stakeholder requirements by collaborating within a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Provide construction‑stage support.
- Lead small to medium‑sized projects.
- Write structural condition surveys and reports to tight deadlines.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Civil or Structural Engineering degree (or equivalent).
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards chartership) with an appropriate institution.
- Significant experience in an engineering design consultancy on building structures.
- Proficiency in designing concrete, steel, masonry, and timber using UK Standards and Eurocodes.
- Experience with Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), AutoCAD, Revit, TEDDS, Excel, and NBS specification tools.
- Experience delivering RIBA‑staged projects and writing reports.
- Full UK driving licence.
