Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Shifts – Birmingham NHS
The role is based on a four on, four off shift pattern consisting of two days 7am-7pm and then two nights 7pm-7am.
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 plus a £3k shift allowance (maximum salary: £38,000)
There is no on-call duty, but there is the possibility of overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment including ventilation, pumps, compressors, boilers, medical gases, heating systems, and domestic hot and cold-water systems.
Qualifications:
- Maintenance background, preferably in hospital/healthcare.
- Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds level.
