Electrical Qualifying Supervisor – Midlands

Location: Midlands, UK
Salary: c£50k
Travel: UK wide
Transport: Company van/pickup

Our client manages the electrical policies, procedures and infrastructure for two large student accommodation portfolios, with approximately 77,000 beds across the UK. They carry out fixed wire testing, board replacements, remedials as well as reactive and planned maintenance.

**Responsibilities**

  • Visit sites to carry out pre‑start surveys, assess systems, and prepare reports.
  • Monitor engineer progress and audit works as projects develop.
  • Issue permits to work when remedial actions are required.
  • Spend 2‑3 days on site and 2‑3 days at home or in the Birmingham office; overnight stays are provided with accommodation and sustenance.

**Qualifications**

  • Full experience in all aspects of the electrical trade.
  • Qualified to NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Level; preferred to have LVAP or HVAP.
  • Knowledge of delivering domestic/commercial electrical work, including emergency lighting.
  • JIB Manager/Gold Card, 18th Edition, C&G part 1 and 2 (or equivalent).
