The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will be working as part of our in-house design team, helping to design and deliver our exciting programme of building and refurbishment projects across our nationwide estate. Our projects range from curated refurbishments through to new multi-million-pound developments as we expand our business to new locations. Our in-house team is made up of qualified architects, interior designers and project managers, who regularly work with our other business teams (e.g. Brand & Marketing, Operations, Commercial, Food, IT, People & Safety). Your responsibilities

  • Report to the Building & Design Director to assist with the design and delivery of our Capital Projects Plan
  • Develop projects collaboratively with our in-house teams and external partners
  • Produce high-quality design work in the form of 2D drawings, 3D visuals and presentation materials
  • Manage the design workflow of external consultants; architects, engineers, surveyors & specialist suppliers
  • Project management tasks

Must have:

  • Minimum RIBA Part 2 Qualification with a view to complete your RIBA Part 3 studies (mentoring will be provided)
  • Professional skills in Computer Aided Design, ideally using:
  • Autodesk (AutoCAD / LT or Revit)
  • SketchUp
  • Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop etc)
  • Rendering packages (Enscape or similar)
  • Knowledge and a passion for design, architecture & interiors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised with an appetite for continual improvement
  • Industry experience in an architectural office
  • Commercial awareness with an ability to work to budgets and timescales
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good to have:

    • RIBA Part 3 Qualification
    • Construction experience and knowledge of construction detailing
    • Experience of projects in a food and retail environment
    • Experience in cost management and reporting
