Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the operational delivery of the Material Recovery Facility in Barrow-in-Furness, within the waste and street scene service. The role is to assist in ensuring that the waste is received and recorded in an efficient manner, working alongside other members of the team to ensure the smooth running of the site and liaising with contractors and other departments. The post will be based at the Material Recovery Facility on Walney Road, hours of work are to be agreed but requirements may include Monday – Sunday 8am – 5pm.
