This is an exciting opportunity for skilled Drivers to join our Community Equipment Service within Adult Social Care on a casual basis. Westmorland and Furness Council’s Community Equipment Service works with partner organisations like the NHS to deliver, install and maintain equipment to help people in our communities stay active, comfortable and independent in their own home.
As a Driver Technician you will assist in the delivery of a range of activities to ensure quality equipment providing utilising a range of agreed processes and practices within the service.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who is committed to personal development and ongoing training. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to plan and manage daily tasks efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. A good understanding of health and safety practices, confidentiality, and effective communication are key, along with a focus on providing high-quality care to our customers.
