The predicted salary is between 27800 - 37300 £ per year.

Salary/Hourly Rate: £13.47 - £17.96. The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and/or working conditions of the role. Amortised supplement equalling time and a third is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting the hourly rate in these periods to £17.96. This applies to both contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods. From 20th April 2026 this will be replaced by a new market supplement of £0.53p per hour which will be payable once you have been in post for 6 months. It will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours, uplifting the hourly rate to £14.00 per hour. There will be the option to take this as a lump sum annually.

About Residential Care: Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility, as well as supporting emotional wellness.

About the role: As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence. No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. About Our Home: Bridge House Residential Home is situated in Flookburgh, and we provide a caring and safe environment for up to 38 residents. It is a challenging but rewarding environment, and we encourage a culture of support and collaboration amongst our team.

Working within our Residential Care Service: Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm – 7.30am (nights).
