We have exciting opportunities to join our dedicated and supportive Social Worker Teams across Westmorland and Furness, as a Social Worker (Cross Service). You’ll be primarily based within one of the following service areas – Older Adults and Physical Disabilities, Safeguarding, or Care Homes – depending on your skills, interests, and the needs of the Service, covering either the South Lakes or Eden area. You will also provide flexible support to cover long-term absences and help reduce agency usage, which means you may move between teams as and when required.
As a Cross Service Social Worker, you may additionally be deployed to support our Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Teams when needed. This cross-service approach gives you the opportunity to broaden your experience, develop your professional skills, and make a meaningful contribution across a diverse range of needs.
