The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
We are seeking to recruit a Helpdesk Assistant β Corporate Asset Team. The successful candidate will understand the requirements to deliver the highest level of customer service and have experience in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong communication and people management skills are required with the ability to engage customers/building users on often challenging maintenance issues. Working closely with Maintenance, building users and Facilities Management to ensure maintenance tasks are logged and instructions issued for all assets and liaising with contractors to ensure that work is carried out safely, safe working practices are followed, and high quality work is delivered at all times.
Responsibilities
- Provide electronic and telephone helpdesk facilities for users of all council and agreed external buildings.
- Receive requests for all appropriate maintenance/service works; taking responsibility for determining the prioritisation of such requests in line with the pre-determined priorities agreement.
- Offer guidance and challenge where appropriate on non-compliant requests from all building users, thereby supporting the re-shaping and investment of the Corporate Portfolio in line with Corporate Strategies.
- Liaising with approved contractors placing orders for the delivery of all agreed reactive, planned preventative and statutory maintenance/testing.
- Liaise with appointed Contract Administrators to ensure that all properties are maintained to comply with the latest legislation, policies and procedures.
