The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for an inspirational tutor to deliver Arts and Crafts classes to our learners across Penrith and the surrounding areas. Preferably someone with experience of painting and drawing and the ability to teach a range of textiles and crafts would be an advantage. Cumbria Adult Learning was rated Good by Ofsted at our last inspection. We are now on a journey towards becoming an Outstanding provider. We aim to inspire the people of Cumbria and transform the lives of our communities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver creative and exciting lessons that enthuse and develop adult learners
- Work with learners in a variety of settings across the local community
- Work with learners who will have a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
- Have a can-do attitude and build excellent working relationships with their learners and colleagues
- Have a flexible approach to spot and meet emerging needs in the local area so this role may include some evening work.
Qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification (Min level 3 e.g PTLLS or be working towards one.)
- Relevant qualification and/or experience in the subject specialism
- Maths and English qualification at Level 2 or prepared to work towards these
