We are recruiting for a 37‑hour Supervisor to join our exciting service in Kendal. Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities and/or complex needs? If so, we would love to hear from you. We have an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join our established Supervisor Team, delivering safe, effective, and high‑quality support to individuals living in their own homes within the local community. About the Role

As a Supervisor, you will provide strong leadership and engagement, ensuring high‑quality day‑to‑day service delivery. You will support and develop the staff team, helping them reach their full potential both individually and collectively. You will work in partnership with others, manage risk effectively, and promote a person‑centred approach to care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate service user records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring appropriate and adequate staffing levels to meet assessed needs
  • Managing and reviewing Support Plans and Risk Assessments regularly
  • Conducting staff 1:1s and facilitating team meetings in line with policy, ensuring clear communication and information sharing
  • Participating in the on‑call rota as an emergency contact for staff, service users, families, and professionals
  • Promoting and maintaining high standards of care, support, and encouragement to develop individuals’ independence skills
