We are currently seeking to recruit a Bridge Technician to join our Bridges and Structures team, based in Kendal and Penrith. This role will support the effective management, inspection, and maintenance of approximately 2,000 highway structures across the network. The successful candidate will assist with the undertaking of routine and detailed condition inspections, monitoring structural performance, and providing general stewardship of bridges and other highway structures. A key aspect of the role is the accurate, clear, and consistent recording of structural condition and defects, in line with relevant standards, guidance, and best practice.

Full support and training will be provided to enable you to develop the necessary skills and knowledge, allowing you to become a valued and effective member of the team.
