Are you passionate about making a difference to outcomes for young children?
This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated Early Years team in Westmorland and Furness, working with providers and children aged 0 – 5 years in the Private, Voluntary, and Independent sector, as well as maintained and academy schools. The role includes supporting the development of inclusive practice, including advice for children’s additional needs.
This is a full-time post open to anyone with QTS and experience in the Early Years sector.
The successful applicant will:
- Work with multi-agency partners to improve Early Years outcomes for children in Westmorland and Furness;
- Work within a team of Early Years and Childcare Advisers within the Learning Improvement Service, championing excellence across a range of schools and providers;
- Facilitate partnerships for learning and development, including for children with SEND, in accordance with strategic plans and current legislation;
- Work with relevant Local Authority colleagues to ensure statutory functions are met.
