A food producer, based on the outskirts of Beverley is looking for a Quality Compliance Manager to join the fast-growing business. Opting for sustainable growth, they are proud to use ultramodern machinery, high-quality products, and continuously invest on the site, both on the production facilities and employees. THE ROLE: As the Quality Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all quality control processes and procedures are adhered to within the organisation. This role involves managing pest control, handling complaints, developing the QC team, and overseeing internal documentation and audits. The Quality Compliance Manager will also manage QHSE action logs, non-conformance logs, calibration processes, and coordinate new product introductions. Additionally, this role includes monitoring micro trends, conducting hygiene audits, and driving the site food safety culture. You will report to the Technical Manager. Key Responsibilities: Internal Documentation Management:Oversee the management and organization of internal quality documentation. Internal Audit Management:Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. QHSE Action Management Log:Set and monitor deadlines for QHSE action items to ensure timely completion. QC Team Development:Develop and mentor the Quality Control team to enhance their skills and performance. Non-Conformance Log:Manage the non-conformance log, develop action plans, and ensure close out of issues. Calibration:Oversee the calibration of equipment to maintain accuracy and reliability. New Product Coordination:Coordinate the introduction of new products, ensuring they meet quality standards. Pest Control:Implement and manage pest control measures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Complaints:Handle and resolve customer complaints related to product quality and safety. Micro Trends:Monitor and analyze microbiological trends to identify potential issues. Hygiene / GMP / Food Safety Audits:Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with site / customer / certification / regulatory standards. Driver of Site Food Safety Culture:Promote and drive a strong food safety culture across the site. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in food science, Quality Management, or a related field. Proven experience in quality team management within the food industry. Strong knowledge of QHSE standards and regulations. Excellent leadership and team development skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Hands on and flexible.
