Are you an experienced, qualified accountant with a passion for treasury and financial reporting? Join a major UK infrastructure and logistics business as a Management Accountant β Treasury, where you will play a key role in managing and reporting on group financing and treasury activities across a complex, multi-entity organisation.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of management accounting for the Group\βs Financing Companies and treasury-related activities. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, tax, and treasury teams.
- Accounting for all treasury transactions including investments, debt, swaps, and FX.
- Producing monthly management accounts and annual statutory returns for Group Financing Companies.
- Preparing Board Reports covering balance sheet, cash flow, and capital expenditure.
- Reviewing and reconciling intercompany balances and consolidation adjustments.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Supporting continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
About You
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 3 years\β post-qualification experience and strong technical capability. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and producing high-quality, accurate results.
Essential skills & experience:
- Experience within a technical accounting role, either in Practice or Industry.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of treasury accounting, financial instruments, and derivatives.
- Confident analysing complex balance sheets and cashflow statements.
- Solid understanding of capital expenditure reporting and consolidation adjustments.
- Proactive, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
Desirable:
- Experience using SAP or a treasury management system.
- Experience valuing financial instruments and derivatives.
