The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day operations while leading improvements in efficiency, quality, and output. This role balances strategic oversight with hands-on involvement, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the factory floor as much as in the boardroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production, warehouse, and supply chain activities.
- Oversee daily manufacturing, ensuring products are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Manage supplier relationships, stock control, and logistics.
- Coach and develop a multi-skilled team, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Support business growth through KPI development, cost control, and system improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in operations or production management within SME manufacturing.
- A hands-on leader who can roll up their sleeves to solve problems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (bottle filling, chemicals, hand packing, or consumables experience is a plus).
- Supply chain and inventory management expertise.
